This is THE mug that
was ubiquitous in pubs across the UK since the 1920's. It follows that it must be rugged. Made for the wear and
tear of commercial use, it will last a long time at home. A comfortable mug to handle, it
will also take the thermal change for iced coffee or tea. Manufactured by Ravenhead Glass,
which is now closed. Therefore, these could be the last of these "very British"
mugs ever made! The Ravenhead factory was closed for several years, and
apparently there are no plans to produce these anymore. So this commodity has
